D Hub Bar Xchange@Mango was sour

This newly opened & the first of its kind pub is having the fuss all around....
Having heard a lot about the Xchange, finally made up my mind to visit it this Sunday....

Located on the main Delhi highway @Rajapark, this is located inside Hotel Mango.

You wont find any parking space and your car would be parked at the road, which is a turn down, means no security for your vehicle...

The bouncers are Okay as they request for your contact details, probably for the guest list & were decent!

Moving on... the entry wasn't impressive as we had to walk through the lobby, probably the Front Desk area where some front desk agent was sitting & did not bother to look at us & wish...

Oops sorry to say, the property was under renovation, as the boards told us so the route was bypassed through the -1 level.

Upon reaching the rooftop, where it is actually located, we felt WOW, as the ambience was great....a nice pool, with the correct use of lights, mostly the red light which creates a WOW feel & a dance/DJ floor at the end of the pool....

On the left & right side there are upper & lower decks which help you to decide where to sit...
Mostly the seating are for 3+ people, except long bar table & stools for couple!
Lower decks have LED's fitted to see the ups & downs in the drinks, at the upper deck, there are no LED's & the stewards are there to assist, though there is a flicker which moves & shows all the rates!

The server suggested to get the app downloaded & I was amazed to see the ordering system via the app on my phone....which is the first in Jaipur... You just need to click on the drink, select no. of portions & table no.... another good thing is the server is reconfirming the order with you everytime......

That's all about the ambience & service...

There are a few suggestions as well, coz the bottles of water placed on the table were not wiped & were showing signs of water marks which looked ugly & as I see through the orders of my adjacent tables, there were wine glasses which seemed unwiped...so this needs to be really taken care of....

Coming to the food, which has really really let us down....

Ordered for Dahi Makhmali tikki, the order came out well presented & garnished, but upon tasting, it was not upto the mark, there was corn used with the curd, no white pepper used & was not even able To gulp it after half!!!

We thought may be their Indian food is not good, should go for chinese...so we ordered the regular Chilli Chicken, which is the simplest recipe for any Chef....
The order came To our table in a nice wooden plank....well presented & garnished again... but To our surprise...it was another let down for us...
the chicken was deep fried in the the same oil as of the fish & for me fish is yukkkk,....it tasted entirely fish, the taste was even bad..no chilli!!! tried fighting with the chickens To find the capsicum....I would rate this chilli chicken minus...

This was the entire food experience by the time i was shattered....so i thought let me finally give them a chance To serve better & the last order was of Pizza, as i was empty stomached even after having ordered two items...

So the pizza arrives..again well presented & with good enough portion, but the taste was not again impressive....it was Okay & the cheese which was sprinkled overall was not spread evenly..there were some pieces where i could feel the cheese & veggies & on others only the veggies, so i would neither say it bad or good!!!

All in all if you just want To drink, this could be a place for you but wouldnot suggest for the food!

Drinks were fine, but again the price fluctuations are not too high or low that its a craze....i saw a maximum fluctuation of 20 rs in Absolut & rest for my Jim beam it was a change of 11/10 rs, which is nothing great!

Please do plan well before leaving for the place....

F Bar & Lounge,Jaipur...the one’s to introduce Progressive Indian inJaipur

Its awesomingly well constructed, even the cut glasses on the roof are in the shape of its significant F which stands for fashion of F Bar!! I just loved the ambience. Speaking about food wait for the platter to come to you and then judge.. u would get one of the best food in the town!! Recommended for gourmets.. Kudos to the people behind the bar 😂, F Bar !! A must visit on weekends.. i would suggest them to play some desi tunes too as English or EDM won't attract the Jaipurites!!.. The above experience was for the opening day! Since then, I have been a regular visitor of this awesome Lounge Bar.. I must say the food has kept on surprising me with the range of items & taste++ innovations. Have met the head Chefs Chef Abhilash & Chef Amrendra who are a real gem. The experiments on Molecular Gastronomy are Whoomph.... I would rate: Food : 5/5 Service 4.5/5 Ambience: 5/5 Guest Connect : 5/5 Music: 5/5 Recommended Dishes: Choose any.. Galouti kebabs/

Gol gappas @Pink City

There is a strange thing about Jaipur foodies, Foodies here I want to refer is the people who are crazy about street food, especially the home makers, who just cannot stop them from eating their favorite pani puri & bhel. There is a quiet corner in Jaipur, which has been doing tremendous job of serving the best Golgappas, aka Pani Poori, aka Patasi for the past many years & I am the witness of their taste. Have been trying his pani puri for long. People visiting Jaipur were deprived of the famous Patasi centre of Jaipur, but recently I thought to give them a loyalty for serving us! Now this is LIVE on Zomato & today iam writing a blog for them..... I guess this was the very first golgappa centres of Jaipur who started dal ki patashi!! The concoction of Sweet and chatpata jaljeera is superb!! You can also try the dahi patashi which is nice in taste! Situated right at the Ahinsa Circle , it’s easily accessible to the Jaipur crowd! Have seen people coming from Blackout and re

Chai @ Pink City

So finally, this place gets added on to my introductory list over Zomato!! The finest & oldest tea stall of Jaipur city!!!! Showcasing the tea tradition in the traditional way people enjoy! Sahu Tea Stall is well located on the main Chaura rasta, Opposite to Sai Baba Mandir & was the reason why I went there! Having checked on Zomato about the tea stall, I found people donot know this place exists, so took efforts & got this place added over the internet..   You would really love the way the tea is prepared over the charcoal & the brass patila giving the best taste of tea! The Desi taste drags you back & I bet if you are inside the Pink City, you cannot stop yourself from getting here & relishing the "Chai" Samosa, kachori, Bun samosa & my favourite order "Bun Makhan" are readily available on order! The tea is really delicious & is cooked for long over the charcoal, multiple boils & regular skimming lets the tea infused & impar
