So today it's Thali and More, located at C scheme & what I came to know about the chain is of the same owner as of Kebab & Curries!
I have been trying to dine at this outlet for long but the queue outside did not let us do so.
Finally reached the place on Sunday afternoon & was surprised to see that 60% tables were occupied during the day which is a good sign.
The ambience is very cool with few high tables & chairs on the corner, at the center you will find table with regular heights & family tables, my personal favorite was high chairs, which gave the feel of sitting at the bar counter...lol
There is another section where there are all sofas & enclosed area, which is good for families!
Coming to the food, the menu had great choices, but as the name says Thali & more, I did not go for anything more and restricted myself to the Thali which has must say...damn delicious.
I always loved Dal Bati Churma at Khole ke hanuman ji in Jaipur, which has the best Rajasthani Dal Bati till date, but having dined at this place, I have become a fan of its Rajasthani Thali.
You wont get the option of ordering from the menu for Dal Bati, but there is LED which displays only this thali, which is named as "Royal Rajasthani Thali", you get options of 2 types of bati, 2 types of churma, good enuf portion of yellow dal, kadhi, mirchi ke tapore, papad.......& rice which you wont be able to even touch coz dal bati alone is more than enough. My wife ordered Punjabi thali, which was even good enuf and had nice range of food items, Paneer makhni, Dal Makhni, Laccha paratha (with good amount of butter smeared all over, which makes it delicious), raita!
Located at a posh locality, this place creates a wow factor with its taste, ambience & must say very good service!
This place has become my favorite spot for Dal- Bati- Churma & would definitely recommend this to all people visiting Jaipur.
Food- 5/5
Service- 5/5
Ambience-5/5
Price- 5/5
Value for money- 5/5
I did not expect this to be so low price, the Royal Rajasthani Thali is somewhere around 330+ Taxes, which is a genuine VFM!
Oops I forgot to tell that I also ordered Masala Coke & Iced Tea, which were again very tasty, but could not concentrate on the drinks, as there was not even a single minute when we got time to concentrate on something else than the thalis.....
Recommended full on....
