Thali's more than enough @Thali & More

So today it's Thali and More, located at C scheme & what I came to know about the chain is of the same owner as of Kebab & Curries!

I have been trying to dine at this outlet for long but the queue outside did not let us do so.

Finally reached the place on Sunday afternoon & was surprised to see that 60% tables were occupied during the day which is a good sign.

The ambience is very cool with few high tables & chairs on the corner, at the center you will find table with regular heights & family tables, my personal favorite was high chairs, which gave the feel of sitting at the bar counter...lol

There is another section where there are all sofas & enclosed area, which is good for families!

Coming to the food, the menu had great choices, but as the name says Thali & more, I did not go for anything more and restricted myself to the Thali which has must say...damn delicious.

I always loved Dal Bati Churma at Khole ke hanuman ji in Jaipur, which has the best Rajasthani Dal Bati till date, but having dined at this place, I have become a fan of its Rajasthani Thali.

You wont get the option of ordering from the menu for Dal Bati, but there is LED which displays only this thali, which is named as "Royal Rajasthani Thali", you get options of 2 types of bati, 2 types of churma, good enuf portion of yellow dal, kadhi, mirchi ke tapore, papad.......& rice which you wont be able to even touch coz dal bati alone is more than enough. My wife ordered Punjabi thali, which was even good enuf and had nice range of food items, Paneer makhni, Dal Makhni, Laccha paratha (with good amount of butter smeared all over, which makes it delicious), raita!

Located at a posh locality, this place creates a wow factor with its taste, ambience & must say very good service!

This place has become my favorite spot for Dal- Bati- Churma & would definitely recommend this to all people visiting Jaipur.

Food- 5/5

Service- 5/5

Ambience-5/5

Price- 5/5

Value for money- 5/5

I did not expect this to be so low price, the Royal Rajasthani Thali is somewhere around 330+ Taxes, which is a genuine VFM!

Oops I forgot to tell that I also ordered Masala Coke & Iced Tea, which were again very tasty, but could not concentrate on the drinks, as there was not even a single minute when we got time to concentrate on something else than the thalis.....

Recommended full on....

Chai @ Pink City

So finally, this place gets added on to my introductory list over Zomato!! The finest & oldest tea stall of Jaipur city!!!! Showcasing the tea tradition in the traditional way people enjoy! Sahu Tea Stall is well located on the main Chaura rasta, Opposite to Sai Baba Mandir & was the reason why I went there! Having checked on Zomato about the tea stall, I found people donot know this place exists, so took efforts & got this place added over the internet..   You would really love the way the tea is prepared over the charcoal & the brass patila giving the best taste of tea! The Desi taste drags you back & I bet if you are inside the Pink City, you cannot stop yourself from getting here & relishing the "Chai" Samosa, kachori, Bun samosa & my favourite order "Bun Makhan" are readily available on order! The tea is really delicious & is cooked for long over the charcoal, multiple boils & regular skimming lets the tea infused & impar...

Here's my review of Sirocco - Crowne Plaza Jaipur, Crowne Plaza Jaipur,Tonk Road on @Zomato!

Nice buffet spread & elegantly done desserts. It is one of the finest coffee shops in Jaipur, the minus point is the location. Service was amazing, the guys have been trained well to handle guests. I would like to give 5/5 on service & food. Upon asking about the other outlets, the team member took me to House of Han & the rooftop restaurant & explained each and every bit of the USP's, which is I guess commendable. Cheers!

Gol gappas @Pink City

There is a strange thing about Jaipur foodies, Foodies here I want to refer is the people who are crazy about street food, especially the home makers, who just cannot stop them from eating their favorite pani puri & bhel. There is a quiet corner in Jaipur, which has been doing tremendous job of serving the best Golgappas, aka Pani Poori, aka Patasi for the past many years & I am the witness of their taste. Have been trying his pani puri for long. People visiting Jaipur were deprived of the famous Patasi centre of Jaipur, but recently I thought to give them a loyalty for serving us! Now this is LIVE on Zomato & today iam writing a blog for them..... I guess this was the very first golgappa centres of Jaipur who started dal ki patashi!! The concoction of Sweet and chatpata jaljeera is superb!! You can also try the dahi patashi which is nice in taste! Situated right at the Ahinsa Circle , it’s easily accessible to the Jaipur crowd! Have seen people coming ...
