Khandelwal restaurant-cum-dhaba at Sikar road is a bit confusing to people as the place has an array of Khandelwal's serving authentic & for many years, which I never got to know what the actuals are, coz I have been visiting this outlet for the past 4+ years in Jaipur.
It is a place where I have consumed breakfast, lunch & dinner all courses... and was not disappointed at any point of time.
Recommended dishes for breakfast are undoubtedly Parathas with Chai!! all time fav & you can enjoy at outdoor seating in the cane sofas....
Have an option of sitting outside in cane sofas or the indoor chilling AC restaurant.
For the lunch I would recommend the Chole Bhature, which are again a win win!
Dinners have always been crowded & full of waiting outside the restaurant, but yes if you are kept on waiting for 10-15 mins, it would be worth it, coz the taste would satisfy you.
The good thing is the portion size, if you are two, you will feel satisfied with whatever you order & if you are four, you wont regret on your ordered portions, whether its the skill of ordertakers or its a bliss that the orders always fulfill your appetite!
One thing that needs to be kept in mind while having the meals over here is the fat content, the dishes would be full of ghee smeared all over the dishes, so if you are a diet conscious guy, you should really miss this out....to tell you, I am also a person who keeps a strict control on diet, but yes once in a blue moon, ghee & oil on the dishes could be avoided, that too when you are dining at a place like this!!!
So all in all, its a must must try if you really want to enjoy some dhaba kinda, desi tadka taste with a long drive added to it....
No Alcohol is served here & drink and drive on highways is a sin, so drive safe & try this place out.....
Location:
Main Sikar road, VKI Industrial Area, Before Metro Cash & Carry!
Please donot get confused with the names, the name is Khandelwal Foods!!!
&
last but not the least
My take:
Yes you must go if you are not diet conscious.

Must try dishes for dinner: Dal Tadka/Kadhai Paneer/Paneer Butter masala & Junglee roti could be tried once, else the butter & garlic nan are awesome.
